secondary schools and universities

We were going on this Comboni retreat to discuss choices and a day calm and peacefulness. Our plan was to have 3 stations in 3 groups then have mass. The 3 stations were; talking to Sister Aurora, talking to Fr. Donato and a meditation with Father Tom. At the retreat I felt very peaceful but sad when we talked to Sister Aurora. I remember these feelings because I was moved with compassion because this woman entered a warzone and not only was brave but couldn’t wait to go back. The day for me was very calm and relaxing but opened my eyes to other people who gave their life to God. For me God was present in father Donato and Sister Aurora who had true trust, love and faith in God and so God felt present. I would recommend others to go to hear the sorrows and the pain but also the faith. (Pauline McGovern)
